Are there actual, real life people who truly care about how thin their computer is?! Is this an actual thing that people actually care about or is it just some kind of weird marketing asshattery that we're all expected to just nod along with as if the emperor isn't ass fucking naked?!

@gendertreyf There's some merit to thinness, but there's a limit. I'm certainly not the first to say it, but if there's diversity in the lineup, then make a laptop you can put in your pocket and one that is a desktop with impostor syndrome.
Speaking of displays, I wish Apple would offer a matte display on their laptops again.
@emorydunn It just drives me nuts. It's like... as a visual artist having a good display is my absolute number one priority but for some reason manufacturers only want to offer high end displays on their ultra high end computers...
... and every single one of those has this weird competition going on where they're all trying to make the worlds' most expensive razor blade.
