Spent a little time making a project I've wanted to exist for years: a way to import Etsy orders into Things.
As weird as JavaScript is, it does have the right combination of easy OAuth packages and integration with OSA.

@modgethanc What are the zines for? I'm an unabashed fan of small prints of all kinds, so those look really cool.

Today is an exciting day: it's UniFi hardware firmware update day 🎊

After a few days of PHP and Docker errors I have my own Compass server up and running to do nifty location tracking. Now I just need to figure out a way to import my existing Fog of World data.

Apparently you can specify a remote application as a URI in AppleScript!

So you can use
`application "eppc://remote/app"`
instead of
`application "app" of machine "eppc://remote"`

This means a script can be run remotely simply by specifying a new (remote) application rather than having to change every instance of `tell application` through the script.

Naturally, a week into reorganizing my website and I figure out Hugo doesn't appear allow content to be linked within a taxonomy and instead always links to the permalink.

I might need to port the redesign to the old organization.

I had a two hour political and philosophical conversation while recovering from a cold and now I can't speak. I kind of feel like I had this coming.

I'm building a REST API for Capture One that bridges to the JavaScript implementation of OSA. All this because AppleScript is a pain and Remote Apple Events even more so.

It’s amazing what a little sanding and a few coats of polyurethane will do. I’ve been meaning to finish this shelf for a while and finally got around to it this weekend.

I think I might restructure my website to make photo collections metadata rather than hierarchical. Basically have a photo stream and assign photos to collections arbitrarily.

Attempting to migrate my server to Rancher did not go as well as expected. Time to retreat back to Docker Compose.

Decided that I should shift my travel photos from a gallery to posts in my blog. I think this will help me post photos more often, even if I don't have a written topic. Of course this means I might end up lightly spamming my few RSS subscribers.
